Slim Pickings for January 2009 High Yield CDs
CD Rates are way down, the current environment is horrible for people who are trying to stay in cash. National CD rates are so disgustingly low that you are better off just keeping your cash under your mattress. Try searching Bankaholic.com for CD rates in your area, but the Masters found one decent national opportunity, let's get to it.
The only decent 'High Yield' CD offer is from MetLife this week, and if you want their best deal, you have to give your cash away for 2 Years.
