Oil Down go Long on the Dollar (UUP)

We told you to play the DUG back in June, it's now up more than 36%. Last week we told you to play the UUP.  Thanks to oil falling, the U.S. dollar continues its bullish run and all the talking heads are all over the PowerShares DB U.S. Dollar Index Bullish (AMEX:UUP).

Just add water, CNBC’s Fast Money holdings, owned by the Fast Money traders; Macke Owns (MSFT), (WMT), (COST), (UUP).  Yep, you bet.

The traders discussed some energy trades after crude oil prices fell $2 a barrel and the dollar continued to trade higher. Terranova said buy anything that was hurt by rising oil prices. Quint Tatro said short the XLE (XLE) or buy the DUG (DUG). Najarian mentioned he sold out of his refiner stocks. Macke said he bought the UUP (UUP) because he thinks the dollar is ready to move much higher.
