Get ready dudes, the Kenneth Branagh-helmed picture starring Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder will be moving to May 6, 2011.
Filming starts this week on the Thor Movie, stay tuned as we'll post the first pics we can get our internets claws on.
First off, who the hell is Chris Hemsworth?
He's this guy:
Chris Hemsworth (born 11 August 1983) is an Australian actor best known for playing the roles of Kim Hyde in the Australian soap opera Home and Away and George Kirk in the 2009 motion picture Star Trek.
Hemsworth portrayed James T. Kirk's father, George Kirk, in the opening scenes of J. J. Abrams' 2009 Star Trek film, and also appeared in the thriller A Perfect Getaway the same year. He is also in the upcoming Red Dawn remake
The movie also stars Nataile Portman.
Let's hope the new movie isn't as lame as this 1980's version, still Lou is a badass:
