Dendreon Shares Down 10%, then Hit New 52-week high? (DNDN)

pinky and the brainAll in a day's work. This morning Dendreon Corporation (NASDAQ:DNDN) tanked -10% in pre-market trading, then they bounced back big time, hitting a new 52-week high of $35.27 a share.  WTF?! 

Heading into the final 40 minutes of trading 27.15 million Dendreon shares have passed hands, that's more than 10X the normal average.  All thanks to one guy named Dr. Elliot Favus (aka. the Brain) that used to work at Lazard Capital Markets.

I'm still decompressing from a very stressful morning.

Shares of Dendreon (DNDN) fell around 10 percent before the market opened. And now, in regular trading, they're at a new intra-day high.

Here's what happened.

Dr. Elliot Favus emailed me a research note this morning. I'd never heard of him before. He was telling investors to sell DNDN because he claimed to have been in contact with doctors who told him they'd been invited by the FDA to sit on an advisory committee to review Dendreon's prostate cancer treatment Provenge
