Domino's Pizza, Inc. (NYSE:DPZ) shares have taken a beating since Oct 13th (down 22%) and despite the company's profit of 17 cents per share that was two cents better than analysts expected, the selling continues? Hungry for Pizza yet?

Today's Great Reason: Consumer Spending sucks and the Powers-that-be are worried that the economic recovery won't be sustainable. Kicked right down the hole America.

GDP: A New Hope

Gross Domestic Product is the word of the day today.President Barack Obama is hailing new
figures showing the economy grew at a 3.5 percent rate in the third quarter, saying the country has "come a long way" since early this year.
In remarks prepared Thursday for a small business group, Obama said he believes the new figures are "an affirmation that this recession is abating and the steps we've taken have made a difference." The economy had shrunk by 6.4 percent in the first quarter.
The president cautioned, however, that "we have a long way to go to fully restore our economy" and recovery from the deepest business slump since the 1930s-era Great Depression. He called the report "welcome news."

Tack on Altria's 28.7% stake in the world's largest brewing company SABMiller and you got yourself a tough guy that is just waiting for the right time to smoke the competition.

Madoff Continues to Punish Victims from Behind Bars

Cash losses by investors in Monster Bernard Madoff's Ponzi scheme have jumped to $21.2 billion from the $13 billion in June, says the trustee overseeing claims. Victims have received allowed claims of $4.4 billion - about $1.4 billion of which has been recovered - and advance payments of $534.2 million.

Garmin LTD (GRMN) Shares fall on Google Navigation App news

Shares of Garmin Ltd. (Public, NASDAQ:GRMN) are down 16% today on news of Google Android 2.0's new Navigation app.Google can now display these maps without having to pay royalties to a third party and without having to negotiate a new contract with Tele Atlas.
In one swoop, Google has demolished the GPS industry. Mapping companies like Tele Atlas or NAVTEQ make their money by licensing their data to GPS developers like TomTom or Garmin.
